Millie's is one of the places for expatriates in particular to meet. Millie's has long served excellent coffee as well as good food. Baagi has always liked the chipped potato from Millie's and he is partial to Millie's cheeseburgers as well. The Millie's Cheeseburger rated third on our original top three list so this time Thomo investigated the burger personally. Millie's cheeseburger is served with chipped potatoes. The burger itself consists of a bun, cheese, thick meat patty, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and a slice of onion (and yes, Thomo washed it down with a Vanilla Milkshake).
The burger itself tastes great - it was easy to see why Millie's made the original top three list. The meat patty is ground beef and is cooked through, with the cheese melting over the top. The bun is french style bread with a few sesame seeds sprinkled over it. Millie's also makes some of the best chips (I shudder to call them "french fries", I am an Aussie after all) in Ulaanbaatar.
Baagi rated this burger highly before. Even at 4,500 tugrigs, the cheeseburger here is good value for lunch, being both tasty and filling. Thomo (of fulsome figure fame) certainly enjoyed it and would return there for another burger in the future.
