The featured burger today is from: The Grand Khaan Irish pub is the big building down the eastern end of Seoul Street. The pub was opened in the summer of 2005 and has become a popular meeting point, with large interior, live music and ..... Guiness on tap. It is not cheap but it is on tap. Now the Burger. Firstly, as it was lunch, I had it with a glass of Fanta. The burger itself is fairly standard, consisting of meat patty, cheese, tomato, pickles, lettuce and is served with a serving of French Fries. The meat patty is good quality beef and tastes fine. The cook manages to keep it juicy whilst ensuring, in Mongolian fashion, that it is thoroughly cooked through. The main complaint with this is that the meat is too juicy for the bun. The bun os kind of lightweight and does not hold up well to all the meat juice. As a result, by about the 50% of the burger gone stage, so had the bottom of the bun. Having said that, it is a nice burger and the meal cost arounf MNT 5,500 tugrigs for burger and Fanta (although I must admit this time, the meal was paid for by a supplier). Recommended as a place to go though. |
