Coolongolook - North of Sydney (well north)

The featured burger today is from:
The Caltex Service Station Restaurant
Coolongolook, New South Wales, Australia

This burger is actually more than a cheeseburger. This is one with the works. I included it, in part, so those note from Australia could try and get their tongues around the name of the town it is from - ev-vil Thomo :-)

The burger was consumed with just an iced chocolate and as it turned out, that was more than enough (that God I did not order chips).

The burger consisted of bun (as you can see), beef patty, tomato, lettuce, fried onions, beetroot, pineapple, bacon, a fried egg, a slice of cheese and a sprig of parsley on the top. Total cost for this was about 10,000 tugrigs (around $10.00 Australian - cheap for Australia, expensive for Mongolia - although that was the price of the burger and the iced chocolate).

As for the taste of the burger, well, what can I say? Superb. No, it really was. Anyone travelling to Australia should try and make their way to Coolongolook for one of these burgers. And the countryside there is so pretty as well.

As for rating this burger, it is certainly in the top strata of burgers, although, to be fair, it is a burger with the works rather than a pure cheeseburger.
